ANNOUNCEMENTS:  

*Congratulations to the 3rd Qtr - Student of the Quarter – Katelyn Lewis and Jake Madsen,  Citizen of the Quarter

*Thank you to the HS Band for being so great yesterday. The concert was amazing! Thank you to all of the parents who came to the concert. It is wonderful to have your support!

v  A special congratulations to Brandon. Alyssa, Tessa, Kelly and Kailey on your special solos!

*2017 Yearbooks are now on sale! $45 without a name, $48 with your name. The last date to order your name on a book is Friday, March 31st!

*Class of 2017, Mrs. G needs a Senior picture for the composite, MUST BE VERTICAL and another, of your choice, for the yearbook. Due March 31st.

*Seniors, Mrs. G needs 3-5 toddler pictures for the yearbook and slideshow. Due April 13.

*Traverse Electric Cooperative is sponsoring one student to attend an all-expense paid trip with the 2017 Youth Tour to Washington, D.C., June 10-15th. To be eligible, students must be between 16-18 years old and a dependent of a Traverse Electric member. Forms are available in the office. Deadline to apply is March 21st.

*Junior Girls –Please turn in your applications for Girls State ASAP! This is a great opportunity – please take advantage of it.

*Junior Boys –Please complete your application online for Boys State ASAP. Any questions, please stop in the office.

*The prom sign-up sheet is in the office. Prom is Saturday, April 8th; please sign-up by March 17th.

Ø This year anyone who attends the banquet will pay $8.00 for the meal. If a prom glass is ordered, but you are not attending the banquet, cost is $8.00. If a prom glass is ordered with the meal, it will be $15.00.  The waiters, waitresses, ticket takers and masters of ceremony will eat free.

Ø Prom/Post-Prom forms as well as out of town guest forms are in the office, please pick yours up and return to the office by March 24th.

Ø The prom dance is open to any 9-12 grade students (not attending prom banquet) – cost is $5.00

Today, March 15:

o Knowledge Bowl Subsection in Fergus Falls; Bus leaves@7:00am. Students competing are: Hannah A. Sydney M. Kailey J. Josh Q. Tye S. Abel P. Kody P. Alyssa L. Kadee D.

o The softball coach will be here to meet with anyone interested in playing or has any questions today, during lunch. Get your lunch first and meet in the link.

o CRE @ St. John’s; 1-6th grades at 3:00;

o CRE for 7th–12th grades- Hot Ham and Cheese supper will be served at 6:00; we will leave at 6:30. We will be going to Sisseton to hear a speaker. Please try to attend this week – this should be a great opportunity. We will not be doing stations this week.

Thursday, March 16th:

o There will be a meeting for any juniors and seniors that are interested in dual credit courses, Thursday, March 16th at noon – get your lunch and meet in the link.

Friday, March 17th:

o County Health Nurse TDAP Clinic 10:00am-12:00noon

Sunday, March 19th:

o The Junior class is having a prom meeting Sunday, March 19th, from 1:00-4:00pm. Everyone needs to come and help! We will be painting and building items. Please bring hammers, paint brushes, and paint drop cloth or painter plastic if anyone has them. Thanks!

Monday, March 20th:

o Whetstone Choral Festival in Sisseton; Bus leaves@8:30; Cost for meals is $2.75 – please pay Mrs. Kemnitz

Wednesday, March 22nd:

o Kat Perkins Assembly at Hankinson High Schol

Saturday, March 25th:

o Lidgerwood Basketball 3 on 3 Tournament for Girls and Boys, grades 3-8; Cost is $75.00 per team; Deadline to register is March 15; Forms available in the office.

Monday, March 27th:

o ECC Spelling Bee in Henry

Saturday, April 1st:

o Students grades 3-12 are invited to join in on the CTF 7th Annual Little Rebels 3-on-3 Tournament, Saturday, April 1st at Campbell-Tintah Public School. Deadline to register is March 27th. Forms are available in the office.

Saturday, April 8th:

o Milnor Area Community Center 3 on 3 Tournament for Girls and Boys, grades 3-8; Cost is $15.00 per player; Deadline to register is March 31st; Forms available in the office.
