*Reminder – NHS members please help set up for the Book Fair tonight right after school.

*Voice of Democracy Scholarship forms are available from Ms. Davidson. Students compete by writing and recording an audio essay on a patriotic theme. This year’s theme is “American History: Our Hope for the Future” E. Any students in grades 9-12 are eligible. VFW Post 3342 out of Sisseton is the sponsor. Please contact Ms. Davidson for more information!

*BSN sports have opened an online basketball store for us. This store is open to anyone (students, coaches, staff, and families) and a good resource to get a good deal on the newest basketball shoes. Look online, purchase, and gets shipped to your house! Store is open until Wednesday, October 25, 2017. Today is the last day to order! To get to the store follow the link:

*NHS is accepting donations of coats for the program "One Warm Coat"

If you have any coats that you have outgrown or not using, please consider donating. You can place your coats into the box located in the link or if you would like you can make a cash donation in the office. Please contact Mrs. Nikki Kriz or Mrs. Nicole Foltz for any questions. The coat drive will run from October 2nd - October 27th.

Today, October 25th:

· Ping Pong Picture retakes and group pictures beginning at 8:30; If you missed getting your pictures taken the first time – please stop in the office for a form if you do not have one.

· SDSU rep will be here at 10:15 to meet with any Seniors or Juniors who are interested in their college or have any questions

· There will be a football meeting for 9-12 varsity football players at 4:00 in Mr. Schiltz’s room.

· Financial Aid Night at 6:30 in the Library for all Seniors and parents

· Confirmation at Bethania: 7th grade at 3:30; 8th grade at 4:45; 9th grade at 6:30

· CRE @ St. John’s; 1-6th grades at 3:00; CRE for 7th–12th grades- meal@ 6:15, classes @ 6:45

Thursday, October 26th:

· The Fairmount Student Council is sponsoring a “Scary Movie Night” on Friday, Oct 27th. Check out the posters in the hallways for details. Sign up in Ms. Vrchota's room by 3:30 Thursday, October 26th!

· All-State Chorus students leave right after school for Sioux Falls.

· Parent- Teacher Conferences 3:15-8:00pm

Friday, October 27th:

· All-State Chorus in Sioux Falls

· Scary Movie Night in Fairmount; Doors open at 6:30; The first movie begins at 6:45

Saturday, October 28th:

· All-State Chorus in Sioux Falls; Concert at 7:00pm at the Denny Sanford Premier Center

· Oral Interp in Watertown; Bus leaves at 7:00am

Monday, October 30th:
· JH Girls Basketball practice begins

Tuesday, October 31st:

· K-3rd grades sing at Countryside Inn at 1:00.
