ROSHOLT SCHOOL MISSION

It is the mission of the Rosholt School District to provide a quality education in a safe environment that will allow each student the opportunity to develop mentally, morally, and socially to his or her fullest potential.

The Rosholt School District is located on Hwy 127 on the western edge of town, in the extreme northeast corner of South Dakota. The town consists of hard working and dedicated individuals who have helped create a strong community and "Exemplary School" as defined by the South Dakota Department of Education. The Rosholt School is one facility K-12. The elementary wing was completed in 2003 and houses about 80 students in grades K-5. While the Middle School and High School wings are together and consist of about 123 students. The third wing of the school, which was completed in 2009, contains the Music Department, Wellness Center, administration, and Gymnasium. The fourth wing of the school was completed in 2022. It consists of a new wellness center, industrial technology shop, bathrooms and more storage. The wellness center of the last addition was converted into a front office by the main door. Also, during the 2022 construction, new heating, cooling and air filtration system was put into the whole building and each classroom.
