The time is here! Thirty-six of our students in 1st - 7th grade are performing in this year's Children's Theater! The first performance is on Friday, November 7th at 2:00pm, and the second performance is on Saturday, November 8th at 5:00pm. FREE WILL DONATION at the door! SPECIAL THANKS to the Dakota Magic Casino and Hotel for donating the rooms for our actor/directors to stay in for the week. We also want to give a huge thanks to our parents for helping the kids get to rehearsals. We know it is a very long week, but it is so much fun watching these kids have a blast! We hope to see you at the Superhero Show!

The All-State Chorus and Orchestra Concert is tonight (11/1) at the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls at 7:00 pm. Our participants are Tristan Barse, Alexis Vermillion, Sonja Oland and Autumn Rada. Mrs. Buffy Kemnitz has done an amazing job getting these individuals ready for tonight's concert. School Pictures were handed out to students on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. If you ordered photos, and your student did not receive them, please email jeri.fulgham@k12.sd.us to help resolve this issue. If you do not like the pictures that your child brought home, please mark November 20 on your calendar as we will be doing Picture Retakes and Group Photos at that time. NOTE: Group Photos will be for all middle school and high school clubs and organizations. (Elementary Class photos were taken on Picture Day. Order forms will be sent home sometime in November).

ATTN: 1st - 9th grade parents! Letters will be sent home with your student about the AUDITIONS for the Dakota Players Children's Theater Show called Superheo! All interested students will need to be at auditions on Monday, November 3 from 3:30pm - 5:30pm. Please remember to pack a snack for after school, and also, please be on site to pick up your student at 5:30pm. Students that receive the larger parts (the older students) will be required to stay for the 6:00pm - 8:00pm rehearsal as well. Schedules for the remainder of the week will be sent home with your student at the completion of auditions!

The Humanity Launch is coming back to lead the high school and middle school students of the Roscoe School District on Wednesday, October 29 . All students grades 6-12 will participate in their “You Matter” Retreat in the morning. The focus of this half-day retreat is on helping our students to make a difference in their home, school, and our community.

Today the senior welding class tested out their grill they made by grilling steak and potatoes for lunch!

We are to recognize the P.R.I.D.E of the Tigers for the month of September! September's winners were Laiken Loosmore, Macy Fritz, Maddox Rempp, and Ashtyn Kriz (back row). Addison Westby, Jayde Carl, and Audra Ceroll (Front Row)! Congratulations again to the winners for September! P.R.I.D.E of the Tigers is a monthly award given to students who are seen displaying at least one of the 5 characteristics of P.R.I.D.E. These characteristics are Positivity , Respect, Integrity, Determination, and Excellence. Throughout each month, staff members nominate deserving students, and at the end of the month the winners are drawn from the nominations. We draw 3 elementary students, 2 middle school students, and 2 high school students! It’s a great way to recognize how awesome our students are!

Today our 8th Graders attended the Sisseton Health Career Camp. It was a one-day, hands-on experience with healthcare professionals in the in Sisseton Area. They got to meet and talk with healthcare professionals, participate in medical demonstrations, and practice skill development! Was a great experience that are students really enjoyed!









The first day of practice for the 4/5/6 girls basketball team will be on Monday, October 6 at 5:45pm in the gym.
