Mark your calendars! School Picture Day is scheduled for Thursday, October 2, 2025!
With school starting tomorrow and the parking lot still under construction, here are some instructions for parking, dropping off and picking up. All will be done in the playground loop. 1. When dropping off in the morning you cannot park in the loop as the buses and other parent/guardians will be using that same area. 2. Students and staff will be parking on the baseball field. Enter that area near Hwy. 127 before the caution tape starts. Make orderly rows and be very careful of people walking to the building. There will be a school staff member directing students and staff on where to park 3. Walkers from town can walk as normal across the new concrete and enter through the East doors. 4. If you wish to walk your child into the building for the first day, feel free park on the baseball field and walk to the building.

Reminder of the back to school picnic tonight (8/18) at the Rosholt school from 5:00 to 7:00. Please enter the building through the door on the southwest corner of the school with the long canopy. Please park on outfield of the baseball field and walk over to door 9 to enter the building. We will have yearbooks to pick up if you ordered them and also surplus Raider Jerseys can be obtained for a free will donation.
If you ordered a 2025 Yearbook and you are attending the Back to School Picnic on Monday, August 18, you have the opportunity to pick up your order from 5:00pm - 6:00pm.

The Back to School Newsletter was mailed on Tuesday, August 18. Please sign the Handbook RECEIPT and the BLUE MEDICATION FORM and return to the school. We encourage you to visit us on Monday, August 18 at the Back to School Picnic from 5:00pm - 7:00pm. We can collect your Handbook Receipt, Med Forms, Free and Reduced Meal Applications, Lunch Payments, and Band Rental payments. We can also make Activity Passes for you that night as well. One last reminder that our Device Free Info Session is tonight at 7:00pm. We have moved it into the cafeteria, and ask that everyone parks in the loop by the playground, and use door #9. We are going to stream the event for those who cannot make it. We want everyone their in person, but if not able to make it you can watch it on the Rosholt High School Industrial Technology page.

The parking lot project is making fantastic progress. Thank you to everyone for your flexibility and staying clear of the construction workers. As the progress moves around to the south side of the building, those using the wellness center are asked to park in the playground loop and walk across the grass to the wellness center door. Updates regarding parking for the back to school picnic and school starting will be posted here. Thanks everyone.
Join Cheyenne Braaten and Grace Brandenburger at the Rosholt Threshing Bee in the craft building on Sunday, August 17 for crafting fun! Ages 4 through 12 are welcome to create a flapping butterfly project or a cannon catapult. History Trail cards will be available at their booth; a threshing souvenir and sweet treat will be given to the kids at the return of a completed card.

Registration is next week! Come sit down with Mr. Krueger and get signed up for classes! If you are taking dual credit classes, you can get your laptop is well! If you are unable to make it please email Mr. Krueger to set something up (adam.krueger@k12.sd.us).
Starting this year we will be a device free school! This means that students will not be permitted to use cell phones or other electronic devices connected to their phone during school hours! We will be hosting Student/Parent night on August 13th for more information. Please see phone policy on website for more details!
UPDATED: The original post about High School Supplies has been removed and replaced with this image. Changes were made only to the math subjects. All courses will need a binder and notebook.
