Happy Fri-YAY! We are ending our third week of Senior Spotlights with Iceli Rabbithead as our featured Senior. Iceli was rather busy in high school participating in girls basketball, volleyball, FCCLA, and Student Council. She and Taylor made a good run for Student Body President/VP, and they almost won. (Too bad they didn’t fake-promise charging stations!) 😃🤔
Favorite School Lunch: Chicken Quesadilla
Three Words to Describe Senior Year: Sentimental. Relaxing. Exciting.
Advice to Underclassmen: Develop good habits and have fun!
Iceli will become a Jackrabbit this fall when she attends South Dakota State University. She has decided to tackle the classes that will earn her a degree in Business. Iceli’s favorite Life Quote is powerful: No such thing as a life that’s better than yours.
We are better for knowing you, Iceli. The world is YOURS!

Let’s meet our next Class of 2025 member – Amsden Piotter! All we can say, is this kid was BUSY participating in the following sports/clubs at Rosholt: Cross-Country, Track & Field, All State Chorus, One-Act Play, FCCLA, Student Council, Knowledge Bowl, Oral Interp, and Yearbook. Whew! I think we all got tired reading that list!
Aside from being a student that is known to the underclassmen as “being nice” to everyone, he is also memorable for the teachers. Mr. Schiltz shared this memory of Amsden: A favorite memory of Amsden was him struggling to write the possessive form for the name Jim. Took him a lot of tries, and I believe he finally ended with “Jims’es.”
Favorite School Lunch: Mr. Rib
Three Words to Describe Senior Year: Just enjoy it.
Advice to Underclassmen: Keep your grades up.
Amsden will be heading south in the fall to attend South Dakota State University while pursuing a degree in Architecture. We know your hard work and intentionality wlil help you create an awesome future, Amsden. Have fun!

The spotlight shines bright on this next Senior! Elliot Schiltz, the guy with the best hair in the Class of 2025, was involved in Track, Oral Interp, Knowledge Bowl, and One Act Play. Elliot is also famous for his singing talents at our Spring Concerts, most notably encouraging his buddies to do a Backstreet Boys performance last year that did NOT disappoint! 🎤
According to Mrs. Oland, Elliot is known for his goofy personality. To this day, even though he doesn’t have any classes with her anymore, if she finds an “odd” item in her classroom freezer, she knows it’s him. And by “odd” item, she means something like a textbook! 🤣
Favorite School Lunch: Chicken Patty
Describe Senior Year in Three Words: Alright, I guess.
Advice to Underclassmen Don’t make up your life plans too early. They wlil change.
Elliot will be attending Lake Area Tech in the fall to pursue a degree in Natural Resources Management. Elliot’s favorite Life Quote is “A naked man fears no pickpcoketer.” Even so, we suggest wearing clothes to your first day of classes, Elliot. 👕👖
We can’t wait to see you succeed in this next chapter of your life. Keep living with that joyful spirit, and nothing can stop you.

Today, our spotlight is going to feature Lorne “LJ” Fatland, Jr.! Even thought LJ is arguably the quietest student in the Class of 2025, he is still an active student as he was a member of Tri-State Tiger basketball, football, and track and field teams. .
Favorite School Lunch: Crispitos
Three Words to Describe Senior Year: Tiring. Dreadful. Abiding.
Advice to Underclassmen: Do better.
LJ will be attending Lake Area Tech in the fall, and he has decided to study Welding. His favorite Life Quote is, “Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.”
LJ, when we see you walk across that stage, shake Mr. Krueger’s hand, and see you get that diploma, we will all be smiling. Congrats, kiddo. You did it!

Starting off our third week of Senior Spotlights is Tucker Carl. Tucker is an avid outdoorsman, but did manage to make time to play football for the Tri-State Tigers during his high school career. He was also an active member of Mr. Kleindl’s IT Group and Building Maintenance team.
Favorite School Lunch: Crispitos
Three Words to Describe Senior Year: Fun. Fast. Memorable.
Advice to Underclassmen: Spend money wisely.
After graduation, Tucker will be joining the workforce full-time, and he has already secured a job working at Gaukler Farms. Aside from work, we know that if we need to track him down, we just need to figure out what lake he is fishing on.
Tucker’s favorite Life Quote is “Good things happen to those who wait.” We wish all the good things for you in life, Tucker!

Our Class of 2025 Fri-YAY Spotlight belongs to Taylor Laurence! Taylor has been a busy Tri-State Tiger athlete by participating in volleyball, girls basketball, and track stats. She was also an active member of FCCLA, Student Council, and RoSoDak.
Taylor has a reputation of being the one who complains in her class. BUT, the girl also has a huge heart. Especially (from what we’ve been told) for her Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Fritz. Apparently, whenever Mrs. Fritz would be gone for the day or have to leave early, Taylor would break down and cry. Now, she is the one leaving us, and Mrs. Fritz may have a tear or two when that happens.
Favorite School Lunch: Chicken Quesadillas
Three Words to Describe Senior Year: Stressful. Fun. Exciting.
Advice to Underclassmen: Don’t leave your assignments until the last minute.
Taylor plans to become a Medical Lab Tech through attending Lake Area Technical College in the fall. Her favorite Life Quote is:”Focus on yourself. Don’t get lost in other people.”
Just keep being you, Taylor. You’ll dominate if you do!

Our next Class of 2025 headliner is Gunnar Cleveland! He’s the quiet kid that works hard, has a kind heart, and never burns bacon (Sorry, Jay 😆).
Gunnar excelled in his cooking classes! Sometimes, when goodies were brought to the office, we would ask, “Did Gunnar make this?” If the answer was yes, we didn’t hesitate to give it a try! Aside from dominating cooking class, Gunnar also participated in Knowledge Bowl with several of his classmates.
Favorite School Lunch: Triangle Pizza
Three Words to Describe Senior Year: Quick. Easy. Fun.
Advice to Underclassmen: Be kind-hearted and let trouble roll off your back.
Gunnar is planning to attend Western Dakota Tech where he will be studying to become an Environmental Engineering Tech.
Gunnar’s favorite Life Quote is, “We can't change what's done, we can only move on." Keep that positive thinking and never-getcha-down attitude throughout your life, and you will be unstoppable!

Oh, look! It’s another Krueger! Sometimes we wonder if Jett ever feels like he is going to school, or if he just feels like he is attending a family reunion! We aren’t quite sure what his big brothers are going to do next year when this next member of the Class of 2025 graduates!
Jett Krueger is known for his quick wit, energy, and school involvement. He played basketball, football, golf and also did track/field. And then, in his free time, he participated in FCCLA, RoSoDak, and Student Council (serving as Student Body Vice President twice).
Favorite School Lunch: C-Store
Describe Senior Year in Three Words: Chill. Long. Eventful.
Advice to Underclassmen Be yourself.
Jett has plans to attend the University of South Dakota this fall to major in Sports Marketing and Media. Did you know? They have a special student fan section called the Coyote Crazies! With how awesome Jett has been leading our student fan section over the years, we fully expect to him as their newest Crazie member.
Good Luck, Jett. We can’t wait to see how you take on the world!

Senior Spotlight: Class of 2025
Sawyer Huff is a fun, ambitious, and hard-working member of the RHS Class of 2025. Not only has he been involved in One Act Play, Oral Interp, RoSoDak, and Yearbook, but he also designs and manages the school media message board that helps communicate with our students throughout the day.
Sawyer has a passion for music, and he will be pursuing a Music Education degree from the University of Minnesota – Morris. Seems like a perfect fit for someone with this as their favorite quote: Music is Life; that’s why our hearts have beats.
Favorite School Lunch: Walking Tacos
Three Words to Describe Senior Year: Fun. Exciting. Easy.
Advice to Underclassmen: Don’t let anyone keep you from being who you are.
.We are going to miss his passion for Minnesota sports teams; especially his devotion for singing the Vikings FIght Song in the office just to annoy Mr. Krueger. 🤣
We wish you all the best of luck in Minnesota next year, Soybean! You got this!

At the end of her freshment year, Ava Vermillion scooted her way to Rosholt from Las Vegas, NV to become a member of the RHS Class of 2025. Throughout her high school career, she has been an amazing help by stepping into the Team Stats roll for Boys Basketball, Volleyball, and Football. Honestly, if there’s any type of random thing a team needs help with, she is always willing to help out.
Ava will be attending the University of North Dakota to major in Elementary Education. As long as she lives by her favorite quote, which is “just keep swimming,” we know she will be nothing but successful!
Favorite School Lunch: Chicken Patty
Three Words to Describe Senior Year: Bittersweet. Fast. Entertaining.
Advice to Underclassmen: Try your best.
Ava, we will miss helping you with your online Spanish class. Adios, amiga. Nosotras creemos en ti!
