Online Payments are now available for Food Service. You can pay using your bank account or a credit card. Please log in to your Infinite Campus Parent Portal account, click menu, click food service, and then, click PAY! You can customize your account by setting up re-occuring payments or by choosing to pay one-time. If you pay with your bank account, there is a $0.35 service fee. Note, this is less than a stamp to mail in your payment, and it may even be less than the cost of writing a check! PLUS, the payment gets applied to your account automatically. No more waiting for your payment to show up on your food service account, AND no more waiting for your check to be deposited either! We accept VISA, MasterCard, and Discover. There is a 3.5% service fee to use a credit card. NOTE: The school does NOT earn money on the service fees. This payment goes directly to the company doing the electronic transaction processing. Email jeri.fulgham@k12.sd.us for your Parent Portal sign-in info if you do not have it. Good Monday morning to all of the awesome people who are part of our Rosholt School Community. I am super excited about the upcoming school year and have some great news to share. The Rosholt School will be offering a before and after school program starting this fall. The morning session will be from 7:00 am until the start of school and the after school session will be after school until 5:30 pm. This will provide an opportunity for your child to work on homework, get extra help if needed and have a safe place to stay until parents/guardians can pick them up. More information will be coming soon but wanted to get this out as some are making plans for when school starts. If you have questions don't hesitate to reach out to the school. Stay awesome and enjoy the last two full weeks before school starts.

Do you have a child that will be entering Kindergarten in the Fall of 2024? Rosholt School District will be offering preschool again, but some details will be different this year. First, preschool will only be 2nd semester starting Monday, January 8, 2024 and ending Thursday, May 16, 2024. Preschool will be (4) FOUR days a week from 2:00pm - 3:10pm, which is the end of the school day. Second, Mrs. Oland will be the new Preschool Teacher! She will be sending out a letter to all families with a student entering Kindergarten in Fall 2024. To be sure you receive a letter for your child, please email Mrs. Oland. If your child was born between September 2, 2018 - August 31, 2019, he/she is eligible to attend preschool! We are excited to meet your young student!

The Rosholt School District has received notice that Congress did not extend universal free meals to schools for the 2022-2023 school year. Starting in the fall of 2022, parents/guardians will be responsible for paying for school breakfast and lunch meals for their children. Families are encouraged to complete an application for free/reduced meals. Those who completed free/reduced forms for the 2021-22 will continue to receive those benefits for thirty days into the 2022-2023 school year. A new application for the 2022-2023 school year will need to be completed when they become available for the new school year, which should be in August. Please complete the forms prior to the start of school to ensure your students are covered all year. If you have any questions or need assistance completing the application form, please contact the school at 605-537-4283.

Good evening awesome people of our Rosholt school community. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We all have so much to be thankful for and I am reminded of this every day when I see awesome things happening in our school and our community. The people in our region are unmatched when it comes to generosity and support. I have been contacted with interest in donating to the new community wellness center that looks like sometime in January will be the grand opening. We are going to outfit this space with brand new equipment and technology. To honor the generosity of those who wish to donate, a plaque will be placed in the new wellness center. There will be name plates for 100-499, 500-999, 1000-4999 and 10,000 + dollar donations. If this is something that interests you please feel free to reach out to me and I can get you more information. Also feel free to pass this information along to others that may be interested in improving our school and community. I am truly thankful for all you do for our students, athletes and community.

Good morning parents and guardians, At the school, there are multiple ways to stay in the loop and monitor your student’s academics. DDN portal is our main resource where grades are posted and attendance is taken. Through a parent account on DDN, you can see grades, missing work, lunch bills, and attendance. This is where the report card pulls the grades from. Schoology is also another great resource that is used in some classes, for grades 6th-12th. In Schoology, parents have the opportunity to see their child's grades, assignments, course materials, due dates, and missing work. There have been updates to the system, so old parent accounts may not work. If any parent is unable to log on to their old accounts, forgot their login information, or is interested in getting hooked up with an account please contact Mr. Adam Krueger (adam.krueger@k12.sd.us) or Mrs. Mindy Foltz (mindy.foltz@k12.sd.us). Both are great resources and a great way to keep track of how your student is doing at school. We can make log-in information the same. If anyone has any questions or wants to learn more please reach out to Mr. Adam Krueger or Mrs. Mindy Foltz.
